The tastiest event in town

With just a few weeks left before the FoodTalk Awards ticket deadline, these are the reasons you need to be in the room

FoodTech is attracting more and more attention from investors, excited by the innovation in the sector. This is not just about interesting new food products, reducing food waste, ingredient development, taste science and tackling the problems of ‘free from’. The whole industry is clamouring for viable alternatives to plastic and trying to work out how we stem the rising tide of Type 2 diabetes and obesity. There is also a sizeable digital community developing new technology and systems in food procurement, analytics, logistics and customer ordering systems.

Breakthrough Funding sponsors The FoodTalk Radio Show which showcases these new developments and discusses the wider  issues that affect us all. To be honest, it’s also a good excuse to sample fabulous new food and drink products. Well someone’s got to do it? The show has attracted quite a following, and so last year we launched The FoodTalk Awards as part of London Tech Week, because we wanted an even wider audience to appreciate the cutting edge developments in Foodtech.

Such was the success of the 2017 FoodTalk Awards that we knew we had to do it every year. Set to be the tastiest event of London Tech Week; the dreamers, disruptors and crazy geniuses of the food world will converge on Banking Hall, London on June 15th for an awards night unlike any that you’ve been to before.

Included in the price of a ticket is a dazzling three-course meal with wine, specially commissioned cocktails, the chance to sample(and then vote for) your favourite product, an after-party with a DJ and of course the chance to network with buyers, producers and foodie-related media. What more could you possibly want from a Friday night?

If you want to (literally) sample the latest developments in FoodTech, you’d be mad to miss it, so bag your tickets before they’re sold out:

The FoodTalk Show podcasts come out weekly on our website, or you can listen via iTunes, the podcast app or PodBean.
