Nourish3d reigns supreme

The innovative 3D snack printing technology has been named the ultimate winner of the inaugural Future Food Awards.

When it comes to the food of tomorrow, personalisation is the trend to watch. That was the view of a panel of top industry experts, hence their decision to name Nourish3d as Supreme Champion at the first Future Food Awards.

This incredible innovation allows consumers to specify the vitamins and supplements you want to consume, then 3D-print an individually packaged snack that’s been designed specifically for your personal needs.

With Nourish3d, you can even take a health questionnaire to help identify the perfect blend of nutrients, so you don’t have to be a nutrition expert to make the right healthy choices.

Having already seen off competition from hundreds of other brilliant entrants to win the Wildcard category, the team at Nourish3d were absolutely thrilled to be crowned Supreme Champion. The big final took place during the Bread & Jam food founders festival at the Institute of Directors in London on 3 October.

Caitlin Stanley, head of branding at Nourish3d, said it felt “awesome” to win the ultimate accolade.

“The awards are amazing, how they recognise all this new talent and all the innovative concepts that are coming out on the market now, as well as recognising start-ups, which is so important as start-up culture is so difficult,” she said. “For these awards to see all the hard work that goes into it is really valuable.”

The judging panel included such leading figures as William Chase, founder of Tyrells and Chase Distillery, Planet Organic founder Renee Elliott and John Stapleton, the man behind New Covent Garden Soup Co and Little Dish.

John Stapleton said: “Personalisation is the future and Nourish3d is way ahead of the game in terms of being able to deliver.”
