At last the FoodTalk Show is back!
After the pandemic halted our broadcasts we're back on air again from 25 October, with a new presenter line up and the usual mix of brilliant guests.
Following a break during the Pandemic, when food tasting and cosy conversations were off the agenda, we are back online!
Once again hosted by its founder and award-winning entrepreneur and broadcaster Sue Nelson, this time she will be joined by a new co-host, the UK’s first accredited Pommelier (cider sommelier) and founder of the School of Booze, Jane Peyton.
Sue Nelson has a wealth of experience in broadcasting, particularly on food and farming. She regularly appears on national radio and television news channels including Radio 4’s Today programme, BBC Breakfast, Channel 4 News, News at Ten, CNN, Sky News, Radio 5 Live, The Culture Show, Farming Today, and The Food Programme, to name a few. She is a member of the Guild of Food Writers, Chair of Produced in Kent and author of ten books including FoodTech UK and the Fine Food Lover’s Guide together with Simon Rimmer, the co-host of Sunday Brunch.
Sue's main co-presenter is Jane Peyton, founder of the School of Booze, the UK’s first accredited pommelier, and the instigator and driving force of Beer Day Britain, the UK’s annual national beer day. She is an award-winning drinks educator, writer, broadcaster, pub expert, and public speaker, and the author of nine non-fiction books including The Philosophy of Gin, and Drink: A Tippler’s Miscellany. A regular guest on radio and television, talking about a wide range of alcohol subjects, Jane is also an ambassador for Love British Food, the national campaign to promote British food and drink.
The FoodTalk Show will feature interviews with founders of household names and local food brands, discussing topics relating to the food and drink industry and sharing exciting new delicious discoveries. Previous guests have included the founders of Green & Black’s, Gousto, Jimmy’s Iced Coffee and Cawston Press and regulars from Celebrity MasterChef, Saturday Kitchen and Great British Menu. Each guest sharing their passion for great food and discussing a wide range of relevant industry topics.
Sue comments, “I cannot wait to get back in the studio again. Given the bashing the industry has received during the pandemic, there’s never been a better time to shine a light on the producers, farmers and hardworking people in the hospitality sector.”

The production team is anticipating an increased listenership past the previous 65,000 as people fall in love with food tasting and socialising once more.
