Black Bee Honey
Nature loving beekeepers creating carbon neutral honey
The UK is a nation of honey lovers with a long history of beekeeping. However, the crazy thing is most of the jars of honey on the shelves of our supermarkets are imported blended honey from mysterious locations far, far away. Black Bee Honey, founded by beekeepers Paul Webb & Chris Barnes, wanted to change this.
As well as producing their own honey, Black Bee Honey works with selected beekeepers across the UK to offer the best of British honey, supporting both our bees and beekeepers in the process. Honey bee colonies are now rarely found in the wild so our honey bee population relies on beekeepers.
Black Bee Honey has also launched Meadow Mission, a commitment to create 1,000 acres of new wildflower meadow habitat in the UK by 2030 by donating 2% of their annual turnover to Plantlife, a British conservation charity who work nationally, and internationally, to save threatened wildflowers, plants and fungi.
Black Bee Honey is also now certified as Carbon Neutral and well on its way to becoming B Corp accredited. Available in the National Trust, Holland & Barrett, Ocado, Whole Foods & Booths.
