Ever been perturbed from trying Cassis because of trying cheap French imitations of crème de cassis? The French may know their wine but Britain knows best when it comes to Cassis.
We were honoured to meet the fantastic Jo Hilditch who makes the blackcurrant-based British Cassis through the White Heron company. They’ve been growing the fruit since before anybody reading this was born and are one of a very number of farms entrusted to grow blackcurrants for Ribena.
