Disco Soup
Vegetables, discussion and good music
We get invited to some bonkers yet brilliant events as The FoodTalk Show, and few will match up to Disco Soup.
Held at the fantastic Mercato Metropolitano food market in Elephant & Castle, volunteers and customers gathered to chop condemned waste vegetables and make soup with the backdrop of Ministry of Sound DJs pumping out the tunes.
Our fantastic evening saw us speak to some of the key members of the movement, including Mercato founder, Andrea Rasca, as well as Angela Malik of Sadiq Khan’s London Food Board and Dominika Jarosz from Feedback.
