Maria Bradford was born and raised in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone. She has many fond childhood memories of age-old African recipes using fresh, local, flavoursome ingredients. As a classically trained chef, she decided to turn her life-long passion of food by reinventing African dishes for a broader audience. She not only sells incredible chilli sauces and unusual fruit juices she can also create authentic African food for dinner parties, weddings and corporate events. But whatever she creates she always does it with a distinctive 'Maria Bradford' twist infused into each dish. You could call it ‘Fancy’. She calls it Shwen Shwen. Listen again to the podcast here.
