Nigel and Lenka began by visiting cosy tea rooms around Europe, especially in Prague and trying lots of different teas and bringing them back home to London in their suitcases. They discovered ‘Tiger Spring’ tea, a famous high-grade type of Chinese green tea called Long Jing (Dragon Well). They were captivated by its special taste. This led them to want to share their tea discoveries with others. They particularly specialise in Earl Grey using real bergamot oil in their special blend. The popularity of their freshly scented tea was such that they decided to rename themselves after the Latin name for the bergamot fruit (Citrus Bergamia).
